Lulu is to perform on a Fred Olsen Cruise Line 8th Nov 2009

Pop legend Lulu is to perform on a Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ ship this autumn.The ‘Shout’ star is to appear on a November 8 Boudicca cruise to Spain and Portugal from Portsmouth.The ten-night itinerary includes stops Bilbao, Oporto and Lisbon. Lulu will be on board for two nights performing Motown hits with jazz trumpeter Leo Green and The Leo Green Experience. The cruise company’s marketing manager Mike Bird said: “We are really excited to have an iconic star of Lulu’s calibre on board to entertain our guests. “Words like “superstar” and “legend” get bandied around too lightly these days – but in Lulu’s case, they really do apply.
